Hello everyone! :D
So, remember the first time on week 20 where I posted this picture and I was already in Prince Court, waiting patiently for the doctor to do the ultrasound. Honestly, I was quite nervous. But, in my mind... I knew it was a girl. Why?
I am exactly like my mom. Sebiji macam dia. When she was preggers with me, she loves chocolates, fruits and anything sweet... and her morning sickness is also bad like mine but apparently according to my dad, my mom suffered worst. In my mind, it was a girl... I love sweet stuff and hate anything sour. I was into flowers and colours..... and still very much into fashion. I even designed a dress for my baby girl. Also, I can't stop looking / admiring Marcus ahhahahahha. I just love looking at his face and I will feel calm. So I thought, I am like my mom... so confirm it's a girl :) Where else Marcus from the beginning think its a boy. All my girlfriends said GIRL, maybe because they want me to have a girl? Then slowly I psycho myself thinking it's a girl.
Then during the ultrascan, the doctor told me that my baby is shy! Cannot really see the gender! Then she asked me to turn to the other side and then told me....
I THINK IT'S A BOY, BUT CANNOT COMMIT TO IT.
Honestly, I cried a little after the check up, although doctor said DO NOT COMMIT TO IT.
We were ready to buy baby stuff already but we have to wait till week 22 for the next detailed scan.
I know I shouldn't cry and just accept it, but I couldn't hold it in. Perhaps I was very emotional and all the while I thought it was a girl. I remembered I teared up during breakfast in front of Marcus and told myself that I shouldn't cry, no matter what... WE JUST WANT A HEALTHY BABY
So, we have to wait for another 2 weeks and I was mentally preparing myself..BABY IS HEALTHY, DONT THINK ABOUT THE GENDER... THIS IS GOD'S BLESSING.
I was calm after that ( NO, I didn't cry like a mad lady, just 3 or 4 tear drops ) Baby is healthy, that's the most important.
So, two weeks passed by....
I was in PCM and during the ultrascan, I saw my baby's HUGE BALLS AND PENIS. Like IN YOUR FACE YO! HAHAHA I laughed looking at it.
Ok, confirm it's a boy :)
Baby is not SHY anymore! We were so happy. In the detailed scan, we also checked for hole in the heart, clef lips and any deformities. Lucky everything is normal. We were even happier. Our whole family was happy when we told them :)
We also decided the name for the baby already... 80% confirm, need the other 20% to confirm again when we see his charming face.
Baby's name is gonna start with the letter M
You can all take a wild guess if you want :)
We also did some shopping and I roughly decided how to decorate his room, but we only can do it after he's born as there will be some painting and nail drilling. I don't normally pantang, but I obey my parents wishes. Cos I love them :P
The baby is now actively kicking me and sometimes I play with him. He will kick me as a sign that he's awake and I will press my tummy to tell him that I am here. Then he will just continue with strong kicks then slowly fade. I sometimes wake him up too, by pressing my tummy and I will wait for his response, he will normally kick back :) So HAPPY! But sometimes no response, cis... abaikan your mak.... hahah
I read to him almost everyday. I love reading Good Night Moon by Margaret Wise Brown as it's such a classic book. I think every mom should get it :) THANK YOU SHEENA for recommending. I got mine in Kinokuniya. I also talk to him everyday :) I also started watching classic cartoons like Disney Silly Symphonys which are my favourite.

Baby bump at week 21
My elder brother bought a MOSCHINO onesie for our baby! Yay! So cute! Thanks Cav!
Right now, we only bought clothes mainly for our baby.. Haven't decided on the bed and baby stroller yet. Too many to choose from until we were so confused!
This is what we bought to far.
I started with wardrobe first... hahah :P
I know we got a lot of things to buys and I want to get it done before my belly turns bigger! But we have to sit down and list the things down and also do a lot of research. If there's any kind mothers out there who can help us by telling us what are the essential things to buy first, that would be a great help!
Also, if you all wanna know what cravings I have... it's LAICI :)
YESSSS GIVE ME LAICIIIIII, I normally buy 2 kg and eat everything by myself. LOL. That day I woke up at 5 am and asked Marcus to go to the fridge to take laici for me. He laughed. Lucky we had it in the fridge, or else where to find laici at 5 am.
** I just got back from my checkup today and doctor asked me to watch my weight cos I put on 3 kg in a month! LOL, she asked me to cut down on laici :(
Ok la, gonna continue packing for my baby moon / family holiday now. We are going somewhere my parents used to take us when we were toddlers.
